Join Your Studio Session

Once you have created your studio, it will automatically start your first session. You will be prompted to choose your output (headphones) and Input (microphone) audio devices. Select your audio interface (recommended) from the drop down menu and test to make sure you are seeing proper audio level movement in both the input and output devices. See Setting Levels in JackTrip for more information.

Click "Connect to Studio" to enter your new studio session.

Invite people

Once in the studio session,  the host can invite people with the “Invite” button in the bottom center or by clicking the copy a link ("https://...") to your clipboard. Share this link with anyone you would like have access to your studio. You can paste it into an email, chat, social media, calendar invites, or whatever mechanism you prefer.

People who click on the studio invite link will be added as members of the studio. If your studio has an active session, they will also be guided through the process of joining it. They can reuse the link as many times as they like to easily join future sessions with just one click.

If someone clicking the link has not already created a JackTrip account (free), you will be rewarded with a $5 account credit. You can only earn one credit per new account created using your studio invite links; however, there is no limit to the amount that you can earn. Account credits are redeemable only for studio subscriptions, and any credit not used after 1 year will expire.
